For galleries and art consultancies: the Tropical Garden collection on trade terms

Before this site, Tropical Garden was sold the way most Japanese art reaches homes: through a gallery. Art Gallery Closet in Tokyo, which places art in residences, model rooms and building lobbies, sold the prints through the 2000s. That model still makes sense — and we would like to work with galleries and consultants who do it well.

What we offer galleries and consultants

• The whole collection — 23 works in colour and monochrome — at four sizes, printed to order, numbered, with bilingual certificates.
• Trade and wholesale terms for consultants placing work with their own clients, and for galleries holding stock or showing the work. Terms depend on volume and territory; write to us.
• Visualisations of any work in any of our rooms, or on your client's own wall, for your proposals.
• The story, ready to tell: a designer from the Nippon Design Center, photographing since 1972, with shows at Tokyo's Pentax Gallery and three photobooks — texts in English and Japanese.

Why it places well

The pictures are calm, cross-cultural and designed to hang as a set, which is exactly what residential, hospitality and corporate clients ask consultants for. The Art in use page shows twelve spaces as examples.
