Within about five working days: a shortlist of works, sizes and papers, with the reasoning behind each choice.

Where the photograph allows, a visualisation of the chosen works on your own wall, at their true proportions.

A quotation for one print or many. Change the choice as often as you like; nothing is printed until you confirm.

Japanese art consulting, from the artist's own studio
Most art consulting is done by agencies that source from many artists and many galleries. This is different: the proposal comes from the studio that looks after one Japanese photographer's work, so every recommendation is made by people who know each picture — its story, how it prints at each size, which paper suits it, how it looks at dusk or under a gallery spot.
Ikki Mitsuhashi (三橋一樹, b. 1943) trained as a designer at the Nippon Design Center, art-directed campaigns for Lufthansa and Kanebo, and has worked as a photographer since 1972. His Tropical Garden — still lifes of lotus, banana flower, coconut and frangipani, begun in Ubud, Bali in 2003 — was sold privately in Tokyo for twenty years before this site.
