For architects and interior designers: specifying Japanese fine-art photography

Designers choose art the way they choose stone or timber: by specification. This note gathers what you need to put Ikki Mitsuhashi's photographs into a scheme, and a PDF you can drop into a client presentation.

What you can specify

• Four sheets: S 297 × 420 mm, M 364 × 515 mm, L 420 × 594 mm (A2), XL 18 × 24 in (457 × 610 mm). Project sizes on request where the master supports them.
• Fixed side margins of 20, 25, 30 and 35 mm, with more paper below for the signature and number — so rows of prints align exactly.
• Papers: Canson Edition Etching Rag, Hahnemühle German Etching or Photo Rag (by supplier stock), Takeo Kakita. Others by request.
• Editions and certificates: every print numbered, with a bilingual certificate.
• Delivery: printed to order in Tokyo, shipped rolled worldwide; about one week in Japan and two abroad, a week more if signed. Frame locally to match the joinery.
